New Copic Color Pieces

Alright, we’re continuing to add more pieces of art from the backlog! (Who’s this “we?” It’s just me manning the trenches here).

First up is the piece above, titled Dragonfire. This was an 11×8.5″ pen and ink experiment I did way, way back in 2011. I started playing around with Copics a few years later and thought it would make a great canvass to just try some stuff out. This hand colored print was the result. What’s a hand colored print? Well, I basically took a black and white print that I sell at cons and hand colored it with my Copics, plus a little spattering of acrylic paint).

You can find this new color version in the galleries here, and the original black and white version here.

Next up is another hand colored print, this time playing around with my Conan piece, The Witching Hour.

This is what happens when I just decide to have fun trying out some new markers to get a good feel for them. This version is appropriately renamed, “Blood Moon.”

This one is also added to the illustrations gallery here, and the original black and white piece is here.

I hope you like seeing the new art being added to the site! There’s more coming soon, plus updates (with art) on the new Soul Chaser Betty story, so check back!
