Evergreen Park’s “Ever-Read” YA Literary Festival

Saturday, March 16th, I’ll be at the Ever-Read Young Adult Literature Festival in Evergreen park. I was humbled to be asked to join the festival to represent writing in graphic novels and video games. This festival is hosted by the wonderful folks at the Evergreen Park Public Library, and will be held at the Evergreen Park Community High School.

The list of featured authors also includes Amanda Joy, Arshay Cooper, Liesl Shurtiff, James Klise, Adi Alsaid, Myah Bawadi, Rebecca Garner, Kim Oclon, and Zachary Jeffries.

There will be writing workshops about plotting stories, building fantasy and sci-fi worlds, and drawing comics (by yours truly, of course). I’ll be walking you through a step by step guide on how to draw characters, so it should be a fun time.

I’m also looking forward to meeting my fellow authors on the midday panel, and then the afternoon will have QnAs with individual authors on a range of subjects. Drop by my QnA to hear about creating stories, heroes, villains, and worlds for video game design.

Finally, there will be an author signing, including a book shop where you can find books from each author.
