More new art’s going up on the site today, and this time it’s all about dangerous beauties.
First up is another Copic marker experiment called Flame Hair (Dangerous Beauty). This time I took a black and white print of a sketch I had done back in 2012 to play around with, coloring it with Copics around 2015. I’m really not sure who this character is or where she comes from, but let’s face it, she’s probably a Martian princess of some sort. But rather than the usual raven haired beauty, I opted for a flame-haired dangerous beauty.
This new color version has been added to the Savage Worlds gallery, where you can also see the original pen and inks.
Next up is Spear Girl. This was another experiment from back in the day, around 2011. At the time, I was playing around with taking some of my figure drawing warm ups and doodles and turning them into something more finished. Some were quite detailed, such as Blade Dancer or Red Handed (which you see in the Savage Worlds gallery), while others were more experimental. Spear Girl was the result of just playing around with some digital tools and a more flat, comic book like approach to color.
Thanks for checking out the art! There’s more on the way every other week!
