Presenting the first collection of full color art from the imagination of Brian BMAN Babendererde.

This book represents a sort of milestone for me, as it collects most of my “all ages” art from the years 2001 to 2015. Think of it as a 16 page “super collection” of prints, on high quality glossy paper, all for less than the price of just 2 prints.

This was my second "Conan" piece, and like the first one, it's me branching out a bit from my typical pin-up stuff.

I tend to stick with pinups that often have little to no background work, or very design-oriented backdrops. This one I wanted to do something that would stand as more of a finished illustration, giving it the background and atmosphere that a pinup often lacks.

This is the second color version of this ink.

Part of the impetus for a second pass was a desire to be a little more experimental in my choice of brushes and techniques. When I paint, I tend to avoid shortcuts and "cheats" and just try to paint as I would on canvass. But for some things I try to let letting myself be more open to experimentation and tricks, and that includes incorporating custom brushes created by artists that I like from around the web .

This book collects my most popular pieces, including the Queens series (Outlaw Queen, Witch Queen, Reaper Queen, Fallen Queen), as well God of Thunder, 2 Conan the Barbarian inspired pieces (Savage Sword and The Witching Hour), Shield Maiden and Moon Dance (inspired by Eowyn and Luthien from the pages of Tolkien), plus all my Fallen Angel pieces (The Raven, Avenger II, Fallen Metamorphosis). Rounding out the line up are Blade Enchantress, Princess of Thieves, Moon Shamaness (not published online) and Death Knight II.
