New Titles (Finally) Arriving in the Shop!

The latest Soul Chaser Betty adventure, The Haunting of the Renegade Blades, is coming October 6th to the shop! It’s been a long time coming, but it’s finally here. But when that book goes live, I’ll also finally be able to add print versions of several books that have only been available as PDFs until now: Soul Chaser Betty 08: Curse of the Feral Gods, Salvage Hounds 01, and Salvage Hounds 02.

So what took the print versions so long? The pandemic. During the Covid years it became almost impossible to get things printed at reasonable costs, especially us small time publishers. At best, I would have had to sell every copy of a print run at cover price just to break even.

That made no sense.

As the plague years receded and paper shortages ended, it started to get better. I was finally able to get these three books printed last year. They were planned to go live with the The Haunting of the Renegade Blades, which was planned to launch early in 2026.

That didn’t happen. Unfortunately, some issues with new equipment at the printer delayed the new book. But, the printer was great and very patient, and honestly most of the blame is squarely at my feet (as in I was dragging my feet).

Consider this a formal apology for the delays. Some of you have already picked up these books at local shows, and it’s been great seeing the reaction. Now, they’ll be available to readers nationwide through the shop in print for the first time.

I hope they were worth the wait. Check it out on October 6th!
