Salvage Hounds Finished Art Preview

Here’s a quick update to let everyone know I’m still hard at work on Salvage Hounds Volume 02.

In fact, it’s been quiet around these parts precisely because I’ve been working my butt off adding the finishing touches to all 26 pages of the new story. That means painting grays, adding effects, and finalizing letters. 22 pages are in the bag, and I expect the last handful to be done next week. Then it’s time for a few revisions before I move on to the cover.

And did I mention that I’ve been capturing footage as I work? I hope to put together a video showing how I paint the panels soon!

In the meantime, here’s some panel art.

Olivia’s gazing out at the stars as she thinks, so I thought I’d put them behind her as she contemplates her way in the universe.
One of the scenes set inside the Mutt’s habitation module. Think of it as a modular RV in space…kinda like Spaceballs, I guess!
A ship that Olivia and her crew are tasked with salvaging. The Bandit was hit by debris within the orbits of the Galilean Moons.
Olivia and Syd have some old disagreements to work out. Is Mi-Cha helping or hurting this situation?
A large establishing shot of the interior of Sweetwater station. Notice the ground is curved, as this station ring rotates to simulate gravity.
Olivia and a new friend evade some thugs in the seedy back alleys of Sweetwater Station

I’ll also be posting these images at a higher resolution over on the Facebook Page in the coming week, so remember to check that out, as well.
