New Art and Prints: Moon Shamaness, Silken Princess, Betty Unleashed, & More! ⋆ Twilight Tangents

Hey everyone, I’ve updated the site today to add some new art, as well as some new prints to the print shop! Without further ado, let’s get to it.

First up, I’ve added one of the more popular pieces that I’ve sold at conventions, Silken Princess. You can find it here, and in the Art: Illustrations gallery. In addition, check out the new listing for the 11×8.5 Silken Princess Art Print in the shop.

This was a simple sketch from a figure drawing session that I decided to experiment with by inking and then laying in some color and textures. I didn’t really have a plan, other than to just have fun and make it “sumptuous.”

Next up is Moon Shamaness. This is another piece that I’ve been taking to cons for a few years, but just never got around to adding to the site. Once again, you can find it in the Art: Illustrations gallery, as well as listed in the print shop as a new 8.5×11 Art Print.

A cheeky figure drawing pose inspired this one, and I just decided to go for it. My goal was to try and bridge the gap between my more stylized two dimensional “iconic look” and three dimensional art.

I’ve also added Betty Unleashed to both the Art: Soul Chaser Betty and Art: Illustrations galleries. This is another piece that I’ve had for sale at cons for a while, and it was past due to be added to the site. Of course, you can also find it in the shop as a new 11×8.5 Art Print.

This sketch was originally done as a commission – a fan wanted to see a more mature and experienced Betty. I liked the way it turned out, and decided to color it, using it as an excuse to experiment with my new Cintiq.

Finally, based on popular demand, I’ve also added some fan-favorite color and black and white / limited color prints to the shop. Now available for the first time online are Witching Hour, Death Knight II, Savage Sword, Ring, Dragon Ash, Overgrown, Legend, Ride, Sky Whale, Double, and Lightning.
