I decided to make an area just for all the little sketches, doodles, and one-offs I tend to create. Usually these are the results of “warm-up”sketches, little quick drawings that I do before tackling something larger. Speaking of size, most of these tend to be tiny little doodles, though there are some that are a bit more finished.

Sketchbook Inks - 2012
When testing out new pens, sometimes I just open up my sketchbook and start inking old sketches and doodles. These here are small drawings, less than a few inches wide. It's fun to just play and not worry about ruining a full fledged drawing.

Something just clicked on this one and it came together with a lot of attitude, and three dimensionality. And for once, the hands don't completely suck. I later turned her into a Martian princess.

Kara Sword - 1992
This was a character from a long abandoned comic series I started planning back in the early 90's called Ragnarock, which you can see more of in the Vault gallery. I drew a lot of pictures of her back in the day, and she never seemed to wear much. This one was done at work when the boss was out sick! I've included it here as it contains nudity.
Pretty Little Thing - 1996
This was an old, old sketch I later turned into a finished pencil and sold at a show. I still really like the eye contact and the hand holding the girl's face, but it was never really finished.
