Betty and Rolf join battle with these Renegade blades, but how do they defeat an enemy that shares their powerful skills with the ancient blades of the Soul Chasers?
Rolf and Betty have the advantage of their powers, but the Renegade Blades have an army of the undead, a mass of poltergeists bent to their will and with one single purpose: destroy Betty.
But how did these ancient Chasers become trapped, unable to move on to the afterlife beyond the Land of Nod? Could it have something to do with the Weaver?
And now that Betty bears the Mark of Cain, the burning light that marked the Weaver as the enemy of the living, the Renegade Blades are drawn to her, convinced she is actually the Weaver reincarnate. And even if Betty can survive the curses drawn to her by the Light, will it ever fade, or is it destined to mark Betty for her entire life?
